Ok the main parts are: Stator -Coils of copper wire around a steel core on a platic ring, for generating electricity. There are three types with different wire sizes, 1mm, 0.8mm and 0.6mm Magnetic Hub - A ring of magnets on a plastic hub. The magnets pass close to the coils pushing current through them. Stainless Steel Shaft - For spinning the hub. Stator Ring Flat and Bumped - Protecting the stator from damage. Magnetic Hub Screw Top - For safely putting the hub and stator together and seperating them. Some other ones which will help things along: Bearings - Allows the shaft to spin easily. Bearing holder - holds the shaft the perfect distance from the stator. Shaft Locknut - Locking the staft onto the bearing holder. Attachment Screws - Attaching the stator to the bearing holder. Platsic Gear - Fits nicely on the other end of the shaft, use it for whatever you like! |
