| The City of Evanston, Illinois has committed to purchase green power for 20% of the electricity needs of its municipal facilities. Under an agreement with Constellation NewEnergy, Evanston is purchasing 5.5 million kWh of renewable energy certificates (RECs) sourced from wind energy facilities.

| Shrewsbury Electric and Cable Operations (SELCO) announced the availability of a green power option for its 12,000 electricity customers in Massachusetts. Under the GreenLight program, an average household can purchase renewable energy for about 15% of their electricity needs for $5 per month or about 30% of their electricity needs for $10 per month. | Direct Energy Supplies Wind to Port of Houston |  |
| The Port of Houston Authority has entered into a three-year agreement with Direct Energy for retail electric service that includes 5% wind energy. Under the agreement, the port will purchase about 6.5 million kWh of wind energy. The port is the first announced commercial renewable customer for Direct Energy, which has signed long-term power purchase agreements from three west Texas wind farms — Buffalo Gap, Buffalo Gap 2 and the Sand Bluff Wind Farm.
