| S-5! PV Clamps Target Ontario`s Domestic Content Requirements | |
| In April of this year, the first batch of S-5! PV attachment clamps manufactured in Canada will roll off the assembly line, ready for sale. S-5!`s new design brings good tidings to a market hungry for innovation but somewhat restricted by domestic content limitations. For although S-5! is headquartered in Colorado Springs, CO, it also has a manufacturing plant in Toronto, Ontario, making it easier for solar panel installers and power producers in the province to take advantage of the Ontario Power Authority`s feed-in-tariff (FIT) program. Under these incentives, homeowners and businesses receive guaranteed payment per kilowatt of solar energy delivered back into the grid - provided that 50% of the labour and materials originated in Ontario. |
