| Novato and Sonoma-based SolarCraft announced today that they have completed installation and commissioning of a 52.4 kW solar electric system at the Sonoma Police Department, Sonoma, CA. The photovoltaic system will offset nearly 70% of the annual bill for the Police Department/Community Meeting room with excess power generated during the day being fed back into the PG&E grid for credit towards future use. |

| SunPower Sets Solar Cell Efficiency Record at 24.2% |  |
| SunPower Corp. has produced a full-scale solar cell with a sunlight to electricity conversion efficiency of 24.2 percent at its manufacturing plant in the Philippines. This is a new world record for large area silicon wafers, and has been confirmed by the U.S. Department of Energy`s National Renewable Energy Lab (NREL). |
