Abengoa gets $1.45 billion loan from U.S.
Spanish engineering and renewable energy company Abengoa SA has been granted a $1.45 billion loan guarantee from the U.S. Department of Energy to support construction of a 250-megawatt solar plant in Arizona, the company said Saturday.

Solar panel maker has 850 jobs for Tipton
The addition of a solar plant in Tipton is a new beginning for a county that`s suffering a 10.3 percent unemployment rate, said Mayor Dan Delph.
